Guam Reef Hotel announces the return of weekend buffets

The popular Weekend Lunch Buffet is making its return at the Rico and Rica Restaurant at the Guam Reef Hotel, giving diners another reason to gather with family and friends beginning Friday, January 23.

Offered every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, the buffet will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., bringing back a relaxed midday dining option at one of Tumon’s well-known dining venues. Hotel representatives said the relaunch responds to strong demand from guests who have been eager for the buffet’s return.

Pricing for the weekend buffet varies by day. On Fridays and Saturdays, lunch is priced at $29.99 plus a 10 percent service charge for adults, while children ages 4 to 10 dine for $16.00 plus a 10 percent service charge. Sunday lunch is offered at $38.99 plus a 10 percent service charge for adults, with children priced at $20.00 plus a 10 percent service charge.

Several discounts are available for diners. In-house hotel guests, local residents, and senior citizens receive a 10 percent discount, as do employees and their families, making the buffet accessible to a broad range of patrons.

The restaurant also offers private dining rooms for group gatherings of 20 or more guests, with advance reservations and a deposit required. Management noted that weekend lunch service on certain holidays and special occasions—such as Easter Sunday, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day—may be adjusted, with advance announcements to be made prior to those dates.
